A second edit has been added to my review that I hope will clear things up, even if it doesn't solve your basic problem.

P.S. "Snow White" was my first movie, too. I hope your mom was braver than I was. The wicked queen scared the hell out of me.

Thank you for the 2nd edit! I downloaded the GOM player last night. You were so lucky to have seen Paul Muni on stage. He is one of my favorite actors of all time. He was in 'The Good Earth' but he portrayed a Chinese person. When actors portrayed Asians they usually did a crappy job. I hsve Madame Butterfly with Grant and Sylvia Sidney and she played the Japanese girl and she was excellent.

Snow white is so great. That was back in the day when all the animations were done by hand and not CGI. I dislike today's animated films because they look like they were created by a computer. They lack the warmth and subtlety of the old Disney Classics. To this day I cannot bear to watch 'Bambi'!!!

Thanks again and again and again!

Ellen

Come on, Ellen. Just because Bambi's mother is shot and he's burned out of his home, that's no reason to be squeamish. Yeah, Disney sure knew how to twist kids' heads around the bend - and not only kids' heads! I'm pushing 80, and that ol' evil queen still creeps me out.

I think you'll like the GOM player. Once you become familiar with it you may find as I have that nothing equals it for ease of use and versatility. Some time ago I wrote for friends a quickie user's guide to GOM's most useful basic features. Hopefully it can save you some time in finding these shortcuts. Here is the download link to its printable text file:

If the full version of the GOM Media Converter turns out to be a winner, post a comment to this post. I'm happy with Aimersoft, but I'm always open to something better.

Thanks
